Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a General Laborer for full-time 2nd shift (Sunday - Thursday) in Knoxville, IA. You will operate power equipment, assist with building and equipment maintenance, and help maintain a safe, customer-focused work environment.

Starting wage is $17.50 per hour with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), PTO and holidays; daily pay is available. Must be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or GED, and pass pre-employment requirements and training

Qualifications

• Must pass training: Lock-Out-Tag-Out, Confined Spaces, Aerial Lifts, Forklift, Gator/Cart, Fall Protection, PPE, and Bloodborne Pathogens
• Must pass pre-employment requirements as needed

Responsibilities

• Run a sweeper/scrubber to clean factory floors
• Safely operate a forklift
• Operate industrial powered vehicles (e.g., golf carts or Gators)
• Operate aerial lifts to perform tasks above safe reach of a ladder (e.g., scissor lift, articulating lift)
• Operate, pneumatic, battery powered and electric hand tools
• Assist in the performance of building/equipment maintenance duties (e.g., recycling, painting, filter changes, fabrication machinery support, and coolant services)
• Perform grounds maintenance services (e.g., landscaping and snow removal)
• Maintain a safe work environment following all required safety regulations and protocols
• Complete other duties as assigned
