Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a Part-Time General Laborer for 1st shift in Corinth, MS. You will operate sweepers, forklifts, aerial lifts, and hand tools while maintaining high customer service and safety standards.

Starting at $13/hour with daily pay options. 401(k) eligible after 60 days of employment. Must be 18+, have reliable transportation, and be able to lift 50 lbs. Flexible hours including weekends; reports to Belinda Meeks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, either orally or in writing.
• Must follow all health and safety requirements.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass pre-employment training for safety courses (LOTO, Confined Spaces, Aerial Lifts, Forklift, etc.).
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Run a sweeper/scrubber to clean factory floors.
• Safely operate a forklift.
• Operate industrial powered vehicles (e.g., golf carts or Gators).
• Operate aerial lifts for tasks above safe reach of a ladder.
• Operate pneumatic, battery powered and electric hand tools.
• Assist in building/equipment maintenance tasks.
• Perform grounds maintenance (landscaping, snow removal).
• Maintain a safe work environment following safety regulations.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

The General Laborer is responsible for operating industrial power equipment as needed to complete assigned tasks. This person is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• Run a sweeper/scrubber to clean factory floors
• Safely operate a forklift
• Operate industrial powered vehicles (e.g., golf carts or Gators)
• Operate aerial lifts to perform tasks above safe reach of a ladder (e.g., scissor lift, articulating lift)
• Operate, pneumatic, battery powered and electric hand tools
• Assist in the performance of building/equipment maintenance duties (e.g., recycling, painting, filter changes, fabrication machinery support, and coolant services)
• Perform grounds maintenance services (e.g., landscaping and snow removal)
• Maintain a safe work environment following all required safety regulations and protocols
• Complete other duties as assigned

• Successfully pass training: Lock-Out-Tag-Out, Confined Spaces, Aerial Lifts, Forklift, Gator/Cart, Fall Protection, PPE, and Bloodborne Pathogens
• Physical Requirements
• Stand and walk for long periods of time; climb stairs
• Repeat the same movements
• Frequent bending and twisting
• Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
• Work at heights to 40 feet
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
