Job summary

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) in St. Joseph, MO is seeking an energetic General Laborer to join our team. This entry-level role focuses on keeping buildings clean and orderly, with a union facility at the St.

Joe location. Shift typically runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with occasional overtime. Responsibilities include cleaning, grounds maintenance, and assisting with loading, stocking, and material handling as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance.
• Follow AGP policy and procedures.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack and material handling equipment.
• Strong communication skills, read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provides general cleaning duties by taking out trash, cleaning up spills, equipment upkeep and sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing and removing trash.
• Maintains grounds and parking areas, picking up litter and debris, and removing trash on a regular schedule.
• May perform loading materials, moving railcars, stocking inventory, and other duties as assigned by management.
