General Laborer

Location: St. Joseph, MO. Union facility.

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning duties including taking out trash, cleaning spills, equipment upkeep, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing.
• Maintain grounds and parking areas, picking up litter and debris.
• Remove trash from the building on a regular schedule.
• Perform related duties such as loading materials, moving railcars, stocking inventory as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a physical and drug screen.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance, machines and tools (design, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance).
• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Organizational skill set and ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
