Job summary

Silgan Containers Mfg Corp is seeking a multi-skilled machine operator in Missouri to feed materials and operate semi-automatic equipment, plus palletizer duties stacking finished goods.

The role includes cleanup, part sorting, and coverage for other operators. Training is provided to become a certified Forklift Driver and Palletizer, with reading blueprints and manuals to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Basic math including decimals and fractions.
• Good English speaking and writing skills.
• Experience using basic office equipment (computers, copiers, scanners, printers).

Responsibilities

• Operate machine operator functions to feed materials and run semi-automatic equipment.
• Operate palletizer to stack finished product on pallets and assist operators as needed.
• Clean-up tasks, part sorting, and cover for other operators when required.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and equipment manuals to ensure proper setup.
