Job summary

Concast Inc. in Eloy, AZ is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as a Casting General Laborer on 2nd Shift.

This hands-on role prepares molds, places concrete, and produces high-quality precast concrete products used in utility, transportation, and infrastructure projects nationwide. Candidates with experience in concrete work, construction, manufacturing, fabrication, agriculture, industrial production, or other skilled trades are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete, precast concrete, construction, manufacturing, fabrication, welding, agriculture, or industrial production.
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, production equipment, or heavy machinery.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience reading measurements and following production specifications.
• Forklift or material handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Mold Preparation & Casting: Clean, assemble, and prepare steel molds for concrete production; apply release agents and configure molds; place and consolidate concrete; assist with finishing, curing, and product preparation.
• Quality & Safety: Inspect molds and finished products; maintain accuracy; follow safety procedures; keep areas clean.
• Production Team Support: Work with team to meet daily goals; assist with material handling and equipment operation; participate in safety initiatives.

Position Summary:

Concast is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as a Casting General Laborer on 2nd Shift. This hands-on role is responsible for preparing molds, placing concrete, and producing high-quality precast concrete products used in utility, transportation, and infrastructure projects throughout the country.

Candidates with experience in concrete work, construction, manufacturing, fabrication, agriculture, industrial production, or other skilled trades are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Mold Preparation & Casting

• Clean, assemble, and prepare steel molds for concrete production
• Apply release agents and configure molds according to production specifications
• Place and consolidate concrete using vibrators and production tools
• Assist with finishing, curing, and product preparation processes
• Read and follow production schedules, drawings, and work instructions

Quality & Safety

• Inspect molds and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the production process
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Keep work areas clean and organized in accordance with housekeeping standards

Production Team Support

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
• Assist with material handling and equipment operation as needed
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives
• Support additional manufacturing activities as assigned

Successful Candidates Will Have

• Experience in concrete, precast concrete, construction, manufacturing, fabrication, welding, agriculture, or industrial production
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, production equipment, or heavy machinery
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience reading measurements and following production specifications
• Forklift or material handling experience

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and lift 25-50 lbs
• Work around production equipment, moving machinery, and industrial processes
• Ability to work overtime when production demands require

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour (depending on experience)
