Job summary

Radius Recycling is hiring a General Laborer I to join the production team in Portland, OR. You will help with vehicle handling, core and scrap processing, and environmental compliance, while following safety rules and company policies.

The role requires physical work outdoors, with a variable schedule including weekends and holidays. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, and PTO starting with the first check.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and safety messages.
• Ability to work required hours including weekends and overtime.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and promote safety culture.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Safely remove fluids and other materials per procedures.
• Position vehicles for customer access and prepare for shipment.
• Dismantle engines and components as needed.
• Operate tire machine and sort tires for shipment.
• Assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
