MasTec Communications Group is seeking a General Laborer to support all phases of telecom construction on outdoor sites, including building and maintaining aerial and underground cable systems and assisting crews across multiple projects.

You will perform trenching, material handling, site preparation, and learn to use tools in a fast-paced field environment; safety and quality are expectations from day one.

Responsibilities

As aGeneral Laborer, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects.

In addition, you will:

• Responsible for various manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites with the use of hand tools like shovels, rakes, and picks
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites
• Build and maintain aerial and underground cable systems
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
• Learn and train to use various kinds of tools and equipment

Qualifications

Compensation of $17-$18 per hour.
