Job summary

Garelick Farms, part of Dairy Farmers of America, is hiring a General Laborer for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM). The role involves a variety of manual duties in a production setting with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The position offers competitive pay: $18.75 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus for external candidates. Benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators as necessary.

• Maintain general housekeeping of the assigned area.
• Report quality and operational issues or irregularities to supervisor as they occur.

2nd Shift: Mondays thru Fridays 3:00PM to 11:30PM

Rate: $18.75 + $1.50 Shift Diff. (2nd and 3rd Shifts)

GENERAL PURPOSE

Perform a variety of general duties of a basic, repetitive, and/or manual nature that are relevant to the work area(s) being supported.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist operators as necessary.
• Load and/or unload materials, ingredients, parts, products, cases, crates, and pallets.
• Move, stack, or place items on conveyor manually or by mechanized means.
• Deliver production or area specific items to designated work areas for processing.
• Pack products in crates or boxes by hand.
• Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units.
• Mark or put identifying labels on product loads.
• Construct or de-construct shipping boxes.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the assigned area.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Report quality and operational issues or irregularities to supervisor as they occur.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding.

• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate.
