Job description

Position: General Laborer

Location: Equipment and Assembly Facility - Pittsburgh, PA

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday (must be able to work a two-shift rotation: day and afternoon)

Under the supervision of the E&A supervisor or group leader, the technician will perform various functions to maintain a clean and safe shop, complying with all company and safety policies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform general labor tasks such as sweeping, trash removal, grass cutting, and snow removal when needed
• Load and unload trucks
• Operate fork truck, jib hoist, small power tools, and maintain safety equipment
• Assemble standard products (disposorbs, vaporpacs, high flow ventsorbs, etc.) and pressure test assembled units
• Recondition small returnable units like cyclesorbs and bulk bins
• Assist in receiving and verifying materials and parts
• Read instructions and drawings for assembly and reconditioning
• Fabricate lined pipe (PPL and TFE), including cutting, threading, assembly, flaring, and testing from 1” to 4”
• Cut, thread, and assemble pipes made of carbon steel, plastic, and stainless steel
• Assist with warehousing duties and perform layout and assembly on small equipment
• Maintain CCC’s service equipment, including performing repairs and localized lining/painting
• Make small equipment deliveries and pick up parts as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 0-2 years of general labor experience; industrial labor experience preferred
