Position: General Laborer

Location: Equipment and Assembly Facility - Pittsburgh, PA

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday (must be able to work a two-shift rotation; day and afternoon)

Under supervision of the E&A supervisor or group leader, the technician performs various functions to maintain a clean and safe shop, complying with all company and safety policies.

Duties and Responsibilities (not Limited To):

1. Perform general labor functions such as sweeping floors, emptying trash, cutting grass, and removing snow when needed.
2. Load and unload trucks.
3. Operate fork truck, jib hoist, small power tools, and maintain personal safety equipment.
4. Assemble standard products like disposorbs, vaporpacs, high flow ventsorbs, etc., and pressure test assembled units.
5. Recondition small returnable units and load carbon into small systems as needed.
6. Assist in receiving and verifying materials and parts.
7. Read instructions and drawings for reconditioning and assembly tasks.
8. Fabricate lined pipe (PPL and TFE), including cutting, threading, assembly, and testing.
9. Cut, thread, and assemble various pipes.
10. Assist with warehousing duties and perform layout and assembly of small equipment.
11. Maintain CCC’s service equipment, including performing repairs and localized lining/painting.
12. Pickup parts and make small equipment deliveries.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years of general labor experience; industrial labor experience preferred.
