Position: General Laborer

Location: Equipment and Assembly Facility - Pittsburgh, PA

Hours of Work

Monday-Friday (must be able to work a two-shift rotation; day and afternoon)

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform general labor functions such as sweeping floors, emptying trash, cutting grass, and removing snow when needed.
2. Load and unload trucks.
3. Operate forklift and small power tools.
4. Maintain all personal safety equipment.
5. Assemble standard products like disposorbs, vaporpacs, high flow ventsorbs, etc.
6. Pressure test assembled units to meet requirements.
7. Recondition small returnable units such as cyclesorbs and bulk bins.
8. Weigh and load carbon into small systems as needed.
9. Assist in receiving and verifying materials and parts.
10. Read instructions and drawings for assembly and reconditioning.
11. Fabricate lined pipes (PPL and TFE), including cutting, threading, and testing.
12. Cut, thread, and assemble pipes made of carbon steel, plastic, and stainless steel.
13. Assist with warehousing duties.
14. Perform layout and assembly of small equipment.
15. Maintain service equipment, perform repairs, and localized repairs such as lining and painting.
16. Pickup parts and make small equipment deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years of general labor experience.
• Industrial labor experience is a plus.
