Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. in Pataskala, OH is seeking a General Laborer to join our production team. Ideal candidates have manufacturing or machine-operation experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment to hit production goals.

You will follow work instructions, observe Lock Out Tag Out safety standards, and collaborate with a team across safety, quality, and engineering. The position includes a 4-day workweek with OT on Fridays and benefits after 30 days.

Position Type:General Laborer

Location:Pataskala, OH

Schedule:Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm; OT Friday 6am-2:30pm

• (2) Paid 15-minute breaks + (1) 30-minute unpaid lunch

Pay:Up to $20.50/hr (based on experience)

Job Summary:

Ideal candidate should have manufacturing experience with machine operation or maintenance experience. Candidate must be comfortable working in production as part of a team with specific production goals. Previous work experience in a fast-paced industrial environment is required. The person selected will be working directly with other members of the production team, safety, quality and engineering.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Ability to learn and follow work instructions
• Perform and adhere to Lock Out Tag Out safety standards
• Meet / Exceed production standards
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Self-Motivated
• Follows Company safety and department policies and procedures
• Maintains neat and clean work environment following 5S methodology
• Makes recommendations to continually improve processes
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Basic mechanical aptitude (electrical, pneumatic, or thermal systems is a plus)
• Ability to read work instructions and perform basic measurements (tape measure, etc.)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

Ergonomic Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to safely use power tools and equipment
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting
