Job summary

Techo-Bloc is seeking a General Laborer to support production operations in our Kentucky facility. The role requires attention to quality, safety, and teamwork, with emphasis on inspection of finished products and adherence to company standards.

The position offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for training and development. Shift is Saturday through Monday, with long daytime hours and physical work on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Have the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to operate machinery, not Machine Operators.

• Be able to handle problems and situations effectively.
• Be punctual; being on time for your scheduled shifts
• Be able to work individually and in a team environment
• Be able to multitask

Responsibilities

• Complete examination of finished product by checking height, shape, color and consistency by applying knowledge of proper company standards as instructed and applicable for in process systems.
• Complete block checks, remove any defective pieces from pallet or board and replace defective pieces with quality pieces.
• Complete packaging, by adding packaging materials, top sheet, labels, and final QC on the skid of finished product before sent to the yard before final transport.
• Assist Machine operators and many other variable processes IE: pallet repair, general Maintenance helper, Yard general support, completing processes as directed.
• Follow established guideline for policy and procedure to ensure QA Standards are met or exceeded.
• Maintain a clean workstation and assist with plant clean up
• Wear personal protective equipment, and ensures behaviors are Safe.
• Follow companies proper lock out tag out and safety procedures.
• Behaves in accordance with Techo-Bloc Vision, Mission, and Values.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Description

Shift: Saturday - Monday 5:30am - 5:30pm

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Complete examination of finished product by checking height, shape, color and consistency by applying knowledge of proper company standards as instructed and applicable for in process systems.
• Complete block checks, remove any defective pieces from pallet or board and replace defective pieces with quality pieces.These tasks vary by line and by product and process that the General Laborer is assigned to.
• Complete packaging, by adding packaging materials, top sheet, labels, and final QC on the skid of finished product before sent to the yard before final transport.
  • All products must be packaged neatly and securely
• Assist Machine operators and many other variable processes IE: pallet repair, general Maintenance helper, Yard general support, completing processes as directed.
