Techo-Bloc is a leading manufacturer of high-end pavers and concrete landscaping products in North America. The Parts Room Clerk role keeps the parts room organized, processes materials, and maintains accurate ERP records.

You will engage with vendors, perform cycle counts, and support maintenance and production teams to ensure smooth operations at our Douglassville facility. Expect daily use of ERP systems, data entry, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a computer and use standard office software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Ability to communicate with vendors and internal teams clearly.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify materials from vendors.
• Create purchase requisitions within ERP system.
• Enter various transactions in ERP system.
• Receive materials in ERP system and unpack into stockroom.
• Stock materials on storeroom shelves and update inventory records.
• Transact part numbers and quantities in the inventory database.
• Distribute materials as requested and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor inventory accuracy via physical counts and cycle counts.
• Research parts and supplies as needed for purchases.
• Maintain clear documentation and reports.

We’re looking for dynamic individuals to keep our manufacturing equipment operating at peak performance. This role is all about troubleshooting, fixing issues fast, and preventing breakdowns before they happen.

Job Description

Pay: $26.05/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday 7am -5pm

Location: Douglassville, PA

Position:

The Parts Room Clerk will be responsible for keeping the parts room organized and making sure all inventory is correctly put away. This individual must be capable of using a computer, comfortable speaking with vendors and have experience with doing cycle counts.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify the content of materials received from vendors
• Create purchase requisitions within ERP system
• Enter various transactions in EPR system
• Receive materials in the ERP system
• Unpack materials into the company stockroom
• Stock materials on the storeroom shelves
• Transact part numbers and quantities into the inventory database
• Receive material requests and issue parts and materials as requested
• Maintain accurate record of all issued parts and materials
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through physical inventories and cycle counts
• Research parts, tools, supplies, etc for purchase based on company needs

Planning;

• Work with Maintenance Manager and Production Management to optimize maintenance and production schedules and efficiencies
• Organize resources in order to optimize productivity
• Inform maintenance of repair needs

Communication:

• Constant communication with the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Department employees, Production Supervisors, Production employees, etc. to help ensure the most productive and cost effective plan is obtained.
• Be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence
• Be able to write simple correspondence and/or memos
• Display exceptional communication and customer service skills internally and with outside vendors
• Actively participates in meetings and share relevant information with the team

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a computer
• Knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; internet software; database software
• Be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Have the knowledge, skill, and ability to operate a forklift
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide American money, weight measurement, volume and distance
• Be able to reason and apply common sense
• Be able to handle problems, situations effectively
• Be able to answer questions and resolve problems in a timely manner with team involvement
• Experience in Microsoft D365 preferred
