Job summary

Techo-Bloc is seeking a Forklift Operator in Pen Argyl, PA to join a collaborative team loading/unloading vehicles and safely moving products. You will work with forklift operators, truck drivers and laborers to meet performance goals while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift to load and unload products from commercial vehicles and put away finished goods.
• Receive and inspect products to ensure quality standards.
• Bring consumables to production areas as needed.
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition and clean at end of shift.
• Partner with yard supervisor to handle discrepancies and malfunctions.
• Wear PPE according to training guidelines.
• Collaborate with team to take on additional duties as needed.

Job Description

Position: Forklift Operator will work in collaboration with other forklift operators, truck drivers, and general laborers in order to achieve performance goals. This individual will work in a team to load and unload vehicles, while safely utilizing forklifts to complete tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift to load and unload products from commercial vehicles and put away finished goods.
• Receive and physically inspect products to ensure quality standards.
• Bring consumables to the production areas as needed
• Always maintain equipment in an operating function and cleaned at the end of each shift.
• Partners with the yard supervisor to handle discrepancies, malfunctions, and potential issues.
• Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
• Collaboratively works with team to take on additional duties as needed

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• 1+ year (s) experience as a sit-down forklift operator, or relevant work.
• Familiarity with forklift operation and safety.
• High School Diploma (preferred).
