Job summary

Smith Lawnscapes LLC in Michigan is seeking a motivated Landscape and Hardscape Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level role offers hands-on training, safety‑driven work, and real opportunities to contribute to both landscaping and hardscape projects that serve our community.

You will learn equipment operation, work closely with experienced crews, communicate clearly with supervisors, and develop practical skills while helping deliver high‑quality outdoor spaces for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of landscaping and hardscape sites
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress
  • Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines
  • Handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
  • Maintain and perform basic inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Apply knowledge of landscape and Hardscape materials and methods to support project execution

  • Knowledge of landscape and Hardscape materials and methods
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Prior experience in landscape or Hardscape work is a plus but not mandatory
