Job summary

EMR USA Metal Recycling is seeking a General Laborer to support day-to-day yard operations. The role involves cleaning sites, assisting equipment maintenance, and sorting recycling materials while adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a clean, organized workplace.

General Labor er

The General Laborer will assist with the general day-to-day operations of the yard. To be successful, it must be able to work independently to accomplish daily tasks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• C lean and prepare sites by removing debris and possible hazards
• Assist in maintenance of equipment
• Sort and pick up recycling material
• Adhere to operating and health and safety protocols
• Ensure a clean and orderly workplace
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• Ability to use variety of hand tools such as snip cutters, brooms, shovels, etc.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to work overhead, climb ladders, kneel, and stand for long periods .

Education :

• High S chool graduate or G.E.D.
• Previous experience using a forklift preferred.
