KPU Telecommunications in Ketchikan, Alaska, is seeking a General Laborer to support the City of Ketchikan Telecommunications division. The role involves unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance and construction tasks, assisting journeymen, and handling a range of tools and vehicles.

Required: 1 year of general maintenance/repair experience, a Class B license, a Flagger certificate, and either a Forklift certificate or ability to obtain one. Regular, full-time hours with benefits.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Class B driver's license.
• Possession of a Flagger's certificate.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Forklift operator’s certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of unskilled and/or semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and construction duties for the assigned area within KPU.
• Assist journeyman in the performance of their duties and operate/maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles.

Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Forklift operator’s certificate. Regular, full-time; Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 4:30pm; Regular, full-time; $25.13 - $33.86 DOQ, plus benefits.
