Overview
The General Laborer performs a variety of manual construction work such as digging by hand, lifting, holding, pushing and other duties necessary to install various utilities in the power, telecom and water and sewer markets. The General Laborer is responsible for cleanliness of the job site, performing general maintenance on equipment and loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment.

Responsibilities
- Perform manual construction work to install utilities in the power, telecom and water/sewer markets in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the job site and perform general maintenance on equipment.
- Load and unload materials, tools and equipment as needed.
Physical and Environmental Factors
- Ability to work outdoors and in all types of outdoor weather.
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, carry, and lift as needed.
- Ability to coordinate eyes, hands, and limbs in performing skilled movement.
- Ability to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time.

Education and/or Experience
- Work Experience: Experience working with hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes). Previous experience in a construction general labor environment with a team is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License; Class A CDL preferred.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to maintain equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Abide by all company and manufacturer safety procedures and industry safety standards, in addition to attending mandatory safety meetings.
