Two full-time positions are available with the General Services Department, Fleet Services - Stores Division, located at 5300 Municipal Ave.

Salary Range: $16.12-$24.58/hour

Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

1. Performs manual work learning semi-skilled equipment maintenance and repair tasks of a modestly demanding nature.
2. Performs light automotive/equipment repair tasks which do not require previous training or experience.
3. Work usually is performed under the direction of an employee of a higher grade, but constant supervision is not necessary for familiar tasks once learned.
4. Work is reviewed while in progress and upon completion for conformance with divisional standards.

Qualifications

REQUIRES ability to speak, read, and write English. Preference given to those with documented auto repair experience.
