Position Description

Perform tasks involving physical labor at building construction projects. Work may be performed both indoors and outside. Responsibilities include cleaning and preparing construction sites, digging trenches, erecting scaffolding, operating hand and power tools, and assisting other craft workers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle construction debris and perform cleaning activities.
• Operate tools like jackhammers and drills.
• Assist in concrete and masonry work.
• Support in positioning, joining, and sealing structural components.
• Mix and pour concrete, and finish surfaces.
• Operate machinery and equipment, and perform maintenance.
• Build and dismantle temporary structures.
• Load and unload materials, and assist with demolition.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain site safety.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools.
• Understanding of OSHA safety requirements.
• Ability to safely use power tools.
• Physical ability to lift objects, support body weight, and perform physical activities.
