Job summary

Big Tex Trailer Manufacturing in Homer Glen, IL is seeking a General Laborer to keep the outdoor trailer and product areas organized, unload freight, assemble trailers, and assist with service and maintenance.

You will provide customer service to support store sales and service activities; this full-time, day-shift role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and availability Monday through Saturday with overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must be available to work Monday–Saturday and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble trailers.
• Park and move trailers.
• Wash and prepare trailers for delivery.
• Help customers hook-up trailers and perform safety inspections (lights, safety chain, decking, etc.).
• Maintain the lot, including mowing, weed removal, snow removal, picking up trash, and installing exterior signs, banners, or flags.
• Receive and stock trailers, parts, and supplies.
• Support Service Technicians as needed.
• Support opening and closing of the store as directed.
• Clean and organize store and support areas as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary

The General Laborer is responsible for the organization and presentation of the outdoor trailer and product areas. Maintains the appearance of the lot, unloads and receives freight. Assembles trailers and assists with service and maintenance duties as directed. Provides customer service in support of store sales and service activities.
