Job summary

Gregory Forrest Lester, Inc. in the Cincinnati area is seeking a Landscape Laborer to join our landscaping crew.

You will mow lawns, edge beds, trim bushes, and lay mulch as part of a safety‑conscious, team‑oriented crew that values reliability and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities include operating equipment such as zero-turn mowers and trimmers, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with hardscape projects and installations.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Landscaping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Landscape Crew Leader in executing landscape enhancement plans as directed.
• Operating equipment, including commercial zero-turn riding mowers, line trimmers, blowers, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Picking up trash and debris, as needed.
• Plant, lay sod, trim, and prune as the job requires.
• Complete hardscape projects.
• Complete landscape and lawn installations.

Job Description

Assist the Landscape Crew Leader in executing landscape enhancement plans as directed

Operating equipment, including commercial zero-turn riding mowers, brake-controlled walk behind mowers, line trimmers, blowers, etc

Perform routine maintenance on equipment

Picking up trash and debris, as needed

Plant, lay sod, trim, and prune as the job requires

Complete hardscape projects

Complete landscape and lawn installations

Requirements:

18 years of age or older

Valid driver’s license

Landscaping experience preferred

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
