Job summary

Croell, Inc. is seeking a General Laborer to perform diverse tasks around the redi-mix plant and yard at our Cheyenne, WY location. This full-time role reports to the Plant Manager and offers overtime opportunities.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience (will train) and must be able to lift heavy objects, operate basic tools, and meet pre-employment screening requirements. Contact Michael Jasper for details at 307-301-0321.

• Perform yard work (mowing, sweeping) as assigned.
• Block precast and fill forms with concrete.
• Part running (picking up or delivering parts).
• Operate hand tools and equipment as needed.
• Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work.

Job Type: Full-time with overtime

Job Summary:

The General Laborer will be responsible for performing various jobs around the redi-mix plant, performing yard work such as lawn mowing, tree trimming, pouring forms, etc.). The General Laborer is a full-time position that reports to the Plant Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects.
• Perform yard work (i.e. mowing, sweeping, etc.).
• Block precast (i.e. filling forms with concrete to make blocks).
• Part running (i.e. picking up or delivering parts).
• Operate hand tools and equipment as needed.
• Perform a variety of other tasks per the manager.
• Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours).

  Position Requirements:

  • Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
  • Basic maintenance skills.
  • Lift heavy objects, maintain, repair, and clean equipment.
  • Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal.
