Job summary

Croell, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform concrete and aggregate gradations, test results, and documentation while following safety guidelines. This full-time role requires travel and overtime as needed.

Experience around 1 year is preferred; DOT and ACI certifications are advantageous, and strong communication is essential for coordinating with the Quality Control Director and team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred in quality control or related field.
• DOT certifications desired.
• Ability to read and interpret measurement documentation.
• Must pass pre-employment screen and drug test.
• Willingness to cross-train and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Sample and grade concrete and aggregates; report results.
• Perform field and lab tests per QC procedures.
• Maintain daily QA logs and records.
• Coordinate with QC Director/Manager on daily tasks.
• Visit production facilities to monitor product quality.
• Maintain safety practices and report injuries.

Job Summary:

A Quality Control Technician will be responsible for sampling and performing concrete and aggregate gradations. Take ownership of your role by testing concrete and aggregates, communicating results to appropriate parties, and documenting the results while following safety and operation guidelines. Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete site visits to production facilities to monitor the quality ofproducts.
• Troubleshoot, identify, correct, and prevent quality controlissues.
• Understand Quality Control documentation to perform field and lab testing on aggregates.
• Communicate with the Quality Control Director and/or Manager for dailyduty assignments and Quality Control-related items (issues, trends, projects, making operating adjustments, etc.).
• Maintain a daily log of Quality Controloperations and recordkeeping on field and laboratoryequipment.
• Maintain good relations with plant personnel, customers, engineering technicians, supervisors, etc.
• Maintain safepractices at all times and report injuries to management as necessary.
• Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work as this job description is non-exhaustive.

Position Requirements:

• Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
• State DOT Certifications.
