The role requires a MLS certification, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and at least 5 years of hospital lab experience with 2–3 years of leadership. Epic Beaker and LIS experience are preferred, supporting CAP/CLIA inspections and patient care.

The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of clinical laboratory operations at City of Hope Goodyear Hospital. This position supervises Medical Technologists, Laboratory Assistants, and support staff while ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality laboratory services. The supervisor oversees operations across multiple laboratory disciplines, including Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Molecular Diagnostics, Specimen Processing, and Reference Laboratory Send-Out Testing. The Laboratory Supervisor serves as a technical and operational resource for laboratory staff, promotes regulatory compliance, supports quality initiatives, and collaborates with laboratory leadership, medical directors, nursing, and other healthcare providers to ensure exceptional patient care.
