Job summary

International Paper in San Antonio, TX, is hiring for a General Labor-Miscellaneous on the Day Shift (7AM-7PM). This hourly full-time position pays $21.15 per hour and requires following safety rules to support production goals.

You will operate measurement tools, complete time sheets, maintain housekeeping, assist team, learn forklift operation, and collaborate with machine crews. This is a hands-on position with active teamwork and daily tasks across the plant.

Responsibilities

• following all safety rules and practices;
• performing assigned duties to insure that production needs are met;
• assisting other associates as needed;
• accurately using tape measures and other measurement and test equipment;
• accurately completing time sheets, reports, lists, and other records;
• keeping the supervisor informed of any problems and/or unusual situations;
• maintaining work areas to plant standards of housekeeping;
• maintaining general housekeeping throughout the plant;
• complete daily assignments/task, per Housekeeping Log in a timely manner;
• must learn to operate a forklift truck under I.P. Requirements.
• maintaining teamwork with machine crews and other associates; and
• performing other duties as assigned by supervision.
