Job summary

International Paper is seeking a General Labor associate at our Minneapolis operations. The role requires following safety rules, operating machinery, reading orders and performing basic shop math while ensuring quality and housekeeping in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Shifts are 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm, with overtime as needed. The pay rate is $22.26 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reading factory orders and basic shop math required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Safely operate machinery.
• Read factory orders.
• Read tape measures, gauges and testing equipment.
• Inspect finished product for quality and count.
• Maintain housekeeping around machinery and area.
• Complete quality and administrative checks accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
