Job summary

Greif, a global leader in packaging, is hiring General Labor Production Support for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM). You will clean and lubricate equipment, load/unload items, perform routine quality checks, and follow safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.

Education typically includes a high school diploma. Candidates should be able to read a tape measure, communicate clearly, listen and follow directions, and adapt to various roles within the plant.

Responsibilities

• Routinely clean and lubricate equipment, maintain a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, ready or put away tools as assigned.
• Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply routine materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.
• Performs routine property care activities.
• Performs any non-technical routine tasks at the plant.
• Routine quality checks on finished products.
• Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level colleague.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must be available to work 2nd Shift - 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (OT if Required)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Routinely clean and lubricate equipment, maintain a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, ready or put away tools as assigned.

Education And Experience

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Stooping, bending, and moving about the plant for up to 12 hours per day

Compensation Range

The pay for this position is $19.60 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
