Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a general laborer to perform orderly, accurate, and efficient production tasks per customer orders. You will work under the supervision of the shift supervisor and collaborate with machine operators and line workers.

The role requires reading and understanding production orders and schematics, using a tape measure, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly. Benefits apply after the first month of hire date.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand production orders and schematic drawings.
• Use a tape measure to check accuracy.
• Lift up to 50 lbs consistently.

Responsibilities

• Discuss orders with the supervisor.
• Read orders including special instructions and discuss with machine operator or supervisor.
• Bundle units efficiently to meet production requirements.
• Monitor production quality to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Make units in accordance with orders or supervisor’s instructions.
• Assist machine operator to meet production requirements.
• Inform supervisor or machine operator of breakdowns or problems with machines or equipment.
• Help perform preventative maintenance on any piece of equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.
