Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of construction and maintenance methods, tools, and materials.
• Ability to learn operating hand and portable power tools safely.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions; read and interpret maps/diagrams/manuals; maintain records.
• Willingness to learn on the job; positive, energetic outlook.
• Valid driver’s license; able to be added to Best Friends insurance.

Responsibilities

• Complete customer work order tickets in an organized, professional, timely manner.
• Perform general building repairs and minor renovations.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, structures, and landscaped areas.
• Install/repair washers, dryers, heaters and swamp coolers.
• Operate, service, clean, and care for tools and equipment.
• Perform drywall procedures and repairs; texture, tape and mud.
• Maintain a safe workplace; communicate about unsafe practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
