Job summary

Basalite Building Products, LLC in Tracy, CA seeks a production support worker to operate and adjust plant equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment. This full-time role requires willingness to rotate shifts, including weekends, and to uphold the company's core values of safety and quality.

You will participate in safety meetings, follow procedures, and assist with various production tasks as needed to ensure continuous, efficient operations across the Secondary Operations.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
• On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with others
• Must be able to work as a team
• Ability to operate splitter, cuber, forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
• Predictable and regular attendance is required. Must be available for shift rotations, including weekends.

Basalite Building Products, LLC is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete masonry products in the Western United States. $20.00-$21.50 per hour DOE – OPEN SHIFT AVAILABILITY REQUIRED

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Secondary Operations Supervisor, this position supports the Secondary Operations in all areas of production; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Standing, walking, talking/listening, simple grasping with both hands, pushing and pulling with both hands, reaching with hands and arms below shoulder level.

• Lift and/or move up-to 100 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Plant environment, wet and humid conditions, works near moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, heat or cold (non-weather) conditions, vibration.
• Very loud noise.
• Wear mandatory and/or other appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
