Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is seeking a General Labor, Bakery- Production - 1st Shift at our Swedesboro, NJ facility. You will form units to product specifications, slice tops, align product entering the oven, and monitor quality while maintaining GMP and safety standards.

The role offers an 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with an hourly rate of $18, plus a robust benefits program and opportunities for growth within a growing bakery organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and make minor equipment adjustments preferred.
• Previous experience in the food industry preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-based production environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Flexible schedule; subject to change under management discretion.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high-speed continuous production lines.
• Set up and maintain line equipment in the filling room.
• Perform visual product inspections and regrades.
• Communicate with team members to ensure process continuity and quality standards.
• Maintain adequate stock of raw materials on the line.
• Perform basic cleaning and sanitation of line equipment.
• Enter inventory data into the warehouse management system as required.
• Perform manual lifting and adhere to all health and safety requirements.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and quality standards on the production floor.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

About the Role

We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery- Production - 1st Shift team member to join our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a General Labor, Bakery- Production - 1st Shift, you will be responsible for forming units to product specifications, slicing product tops, aligning product entering the oven, and monitoring quality throughout the production process. You will also maintain sanitary conditions in all assigned areas to meet safety and GMP standards.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 1st
• Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $18
