Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a General Labor, Packing team member for our Alsip, IL bakery. You will pack baked products according to case counts and quality specs while upholding food-safety standards and supporting line flow.

The role is 3rd shift with 7:45 PM–6:15 AM hours, Monday–Thursday and overtime on Fridays. Hourly rate is $18.00–$19.00, reflecting a team-based production environment in a leading bakery group.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced production experience preferred; able to follow GMPs.
• Detail-oriented with strong instruction-following ability.
• Able to stand long hours and lift 20–30 lbs.
• One year of related experience or training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pack products consistently according to quality, case count, and customer specifications.
• Monitor and communicate product quality issues to leads and operators.
• Support production flow by placing filled containers on the conveyor or into cases for further processing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area in compliance with GMPs.
• Follow production instructions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and food safety.

About The Role

We are seeking a General Labor, Packing team member to join our Alsip, IL bakery. As a General Labor, Packing, you will be accountable for packing baked products according to case counts and quality specifications while maintaining food‑safety standards, supporting line flow, and contributing to a clean, safe, and collaborative production environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3rd
• Hours: 7:45PM – 6:15AM
• Days: Monday- Thursday, Friday overtime

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $18.00 – $19.00
