Our Vineland facility operates in a food manufacturing environment producing Philly Style Beef and Chicken Steak products.

Job Description Summary

This position is responsible for performing entry-level production and general labor duties in a food manufacturing environment while maintaining a safe work environment and complying with all Tyson Foods policies, procedures, and food safety requirements.

Essential Functions

• Perform general production labor tasks, including packing, palletizing, box assembly, and product handling.
• Work at or near conveyor lines processing and packaging raw and cooked meat products.
• Sort, package, and prepare products according to production and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all food safety, quality assurance, animal welfare (if applicable), and workplace safety procedures.
• Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and company-issued gear.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• No previous experience required; training will be provided.
• Must be able to work scheduled shift hours, including weekends, overtime, and extended hours as needed.
• Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must comply with all Tyson Foods attendance, safety, and food safety policies.

Physical Requirements

• The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Stand and walk for 8 to 12 hours per shift.
• Frequently bend, twist, push, pull, and climb throughout the workday.
• Lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Perform repetitive hand and arm motions, including grasping, reaching, and pinching.
• Work in a cold environment ranging from approximately 30°F to 40°F.
• Work with and around raw and cooked meat products.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and food processing gear.
