Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee is seeking motivated General Labor Associates for the 2nd shift to support welding, grinding, sanding, assembly, and related production tasks. This onsite position runs 4pm to 12:30am CT, Monday through Friday, with temp-to-hire opportunities and a path to advancement within the company.

• Weld Prep – assist with grinding and sanding components to prep for blast and paint

• Finishing – perform final touch-ups and inspections
• Shop Cleaning – maintain a safe, organized work area

The company specializes in complex weldments, fabricated metal buildings, and large custom power equipment assemblies serving critical infrastructure and industrial markets.

Overview:

We are seeking motivated General Labor Associates - 2nd Shift at our production facilities in the Milwaukee area. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on manufacturing experience and develop skills that can lead to advancement opportunities within the company.

Opportunities are available in:

• Weld Prep – Grinding and sanding steel to prepare components for blast and paint.
• Sanding – Sanding and prepping steel and aluminum components for the build process.
• Build – Assisting with the assembly of generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and modular metal structures.
• Breakout – Organizing, staging, and preparing materials and components to support production operations.
• Finishing – Performing final touch‑ups, inspections, and preparation of completed products prior to shipment or the next stage of production.
• Shop Cleaning – Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including general housekeeping and emptying trash bins.
