Job summary

International Paper in Shakopee, MN seeks General Labor for the 3rd shift (11pm-7am) at the Shakopee Box Facility. Pay ranges from $23.30/hr to $27.63/hr for an hourly, full-time role.

Duties include operating machinery, reading orders, and maintaining quality and housekeeping standards. Ideal candidates will be 18+, have a stable work history (manufacturing preferred), be able to read/write/speak English, perform basic math, and be willing to work overtime as needed.

The Job You Will Perform

• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Safely operate machinery
• Read factory orders
• Utilize basic shop math such as accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other testing equipment
• Consistent quality and count inspection of finished product
• Housekeeping to include blowing down of machinery, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap
• Complete quality and administrative document checks with accuracy to ensure specific directions are followed
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
