Job summary

International Paper is seeking a General Labor on the 1st shift (6:00am–2:00pm) in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves safely operating machinery, reading factory orders, and performing basic shop math to ensure accurate measurements and quality control.

You will contribute to housekeeping, quality checks, and documentation while maintaining a safety-first mindset. Overtime may be required; strong English reading/writing skills and a reliable work history are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a stable work history.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Overtime availability as needed.
• Team-oriented with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Consistent quality and count inspection of finished product.
• Housekeeping to include blowing down of machinery, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.
• Complete quality and administrative document checks with accuracy to ensure specific directions are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The Job You Will Perform
