Job summary

SERVPRO is hiring for a General Labor position in New Lenox, IL. You will join on-site cleanup and restoration efforts for fire and water damage, working under supervision with room for growth. Training is provided by the New Lenox team, with full-time core hours 7:30am-4:30pm and occasional after-hours rotation to handle emergencies.

We value a hands-on worker with a positive attitude, ready to learn, and capable of performing varied restoration tasks across stages of a project.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-service mindset and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform manual tasks in restoration settings.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist water restoration team by extracting water and setting drying equipment.
• Perform interior demolition and general labor for restoration stages.
• Support fire restoration with smoke cleaning and contents handling.
• Inventory, pack contents and track items using mobile devices.

Compensation

• Start pay based on experience

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Support Water Restoration Team:

• Extract water to accelerate drying process
• Specialized placement of drying equipment
• Interior demolition as needed
• General labor for various stages of restoration

Support Fire Restoration Team

• Smoke damage cleaning
• High detail clean of customer contents and rooms
• Inventory and packing contents
• Utilize content tracking via mobile devices
