Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking general labor staff to safely move and handle lumber products. You will verify materials meet customer specifications, label items with type, size, and count, and secure bundles for shipping.

The role requires basic math, reliability, and adherence to safety policies at Magna, Utah. Responsibilities include stacking according to requirements, tagging materials before/after treatment, and maintaining production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• No minimum experience required; lumber/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Move and secure lumber products and materials as instructed.
• Stack finished products per bundle sizes or customer requirements.
• Label material by type, size and count and attach material tags.
• Use staple gun and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Bundle and secure material with corner protectors and loading sticks.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Keep work area clean and organized and participate in safety programs.
