Job summary

Bonduelle in Irwindale, CA seeks a Team Member to support our production team in meeting safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

You will follow GMP/PPE/Safety, SQF, HACCP guidelines, read production schedules, identify defects, and operate packing equipment while keeping a clean, safe area.

Qualifications

• Adhere to GMP/PPE/Safety, SQF, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
• Understand production schedules and data such as lot numbers and SKUs.
• Identify inconsistencies per product specifications (e.g., foreign objects, mislabeling).
• Remove defects from produce to meet finished product quality.
• Perform de-coring/trimming/chopping/mixing per product specs.
• Maintain a safe work environment and clean area.
• Validate that printed labels match work orders.
• Work safely around moving equipment and conveyors in wet environments.
• Maintain uninterrupted flow of packaging and sorting finished goods.
• Clean and trim vegetables per QC specs.
• Operate shrink wrap machine and hand pallet jack; palletize and pack finished goods.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Summary:

The Team Member role within our manufacturing plants supports our overall production team as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards.

What you will Do:

• Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, SQF, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
• Understand Production Schedules and key production data (i.e: lot numbers, SKU’s, etc.) and Ability to understand current production flow and product specifications
• Ability to recognize inconsistencies per product specifications (i.e: Foreign objects, miss-labeling, etc.)
• Remove any defects from the produce that are undesirable in the finished product
• Must execute de-coring/trimming/chopping/mixing based on product specifications
• Knowledge & understanding of how to maintain a safe work environment
• Validate that printed labels accurately reflect production work orders
• Works safely around moving equipment & conveyors in wet environment
• Maintain an uninterrupted flow of packaging and sorting finished goods
• Clean and trim vegetables per Quality Control development specifications
• Operate shrink wrap machine (manual/automated) and Operate a hand pallet jack, Manual palletization of finished goods and Manually pack finished goods
• Communicate verbally & in writing
• Maintain a clean work area
• Perform other duties as assigned.
