Job summary

Bonduelle Americas in Irwindale, CA seeks a Team Member for our manufacturing plants focused on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will perform core processing and packaging tasks in a fast-paced environment to maintain product standards.

You will follow GMP/SQF/HACCP guidelines, read production data, and ensure labels match work orders while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and effective communication with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand production data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GMP/PPE/Safety, SQF, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
• Understand production schedules and key production data (lot numbers, SKU’s) and current production flow and product specifications.
• Identify inconsistencies per product specifications (foreign objects, mis-labeling, etc.).
• Remove defects from produce that are undesirable in the finished product.
• Execute de-coring/trimming/chopping/mixing according to product specifications.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Validate that printed labels reflect production work orders.
• Work safely around moving equipment and conveyors in wet environments.
• Maintain uninterrupted flow of packaging and sorting finished goods.
• Clean and trim vegetables per Quality Control specifications.
• Operate shrink wrap machine and hand pallet jack; stack and pack finished goods.
• Communicate verbally and in writing.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

The Team Member role within our manufacturing plants supports our overall production team as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards.

What you will Do:

• Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, SQF, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.

• Understand Production Schedules and key production data (i.e: lot numbers, SKU’s, etc.) and Ability to understand current production flow and product specifications

• Ability to recognize inconsistencies per product specifications (i.e: Foreign objects, miss-labeling, etc.)

• Remove any defects from the produce that are undesirable in the finished product

• Must execute de-coring/trimming/chopping/mixing based on product specifications

• Knowledge & understanding of how to maintain a safe work environment

• Validate that printed labels accurately reflect production work orders

• Works safely around moving equipment & conveyors in wet environment

• Maintain an uninterrupted flow of packaging and sorting finished goods

• Clean and trim vegetables per Quality Control development specifications

• Operate shrink wrap machine (manual/automated) and Operate a hand pallet jack, Manual palletization of finished goods and Manually pack finished goods

• Communicate verbally & in writing

• Maintain a clean work area

• Perform other duties as assigned.
