Job summary

Bonduelle Americas is seeking a Team Member for our California facility in Irwindale. The role supports production safety, quality, and efficiency by following GMP/PPE/Safety and sanitation guidelines, and by understanding production schedules and product specs.

You will perform de-coring, trimming, chopping, mixing, and packaging, operate shrink wrap and palletizing equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area while communicating clearly in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, SQF, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
• Understand Production Schedules and key production data (i.e: lot numbers, SKU’s, etc.) and Ability to understand current production flow and product specifications
• Ability to recognize inconsistencies per product specifications (i.e: Foreign objects, miss-labeling, etc.)
• Remove any defects from the produce that are undesirable in the finished product
• Must execute de-coring/trimming/chopping/mixing based on product specifications
• Knowledge & understanding of how to maintain a safe work environment
• Validate that printed labels accurately reflect production work orders
• Works safely around moving equipment & conveyors in wet environment
• Maintain an uninterrupted flow of packaging and sorting finished goods
• Clean and trim vegetables per Quality Control development specifications
• Operate shrink wrap machine (manual/automated) and Operate a hand pallet jack, Manual palletization of finished goods and Manually pack finished goods
• Communicate verbally & in writing
• Maintain a clean work area
• Perform other duties as assigned.
