Position Summary

The Assembly Operator / General Labor is responsible for manually blending product materials and packaging finished goods in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, consistency, and on-time delivery. The Assembly Operator uses hand tools to mix materials to precise standards and prepares finished product for shipment by packaging it into pipe-containing cases according to company specifications. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, physical stamina, and the ability to maintain productivity throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manually stir, shovel, and blend product materials to achieve proper consistency and uniformity
  • Transfer blended materials into designated containers or pipe assemblies
  • Package finished product into cases containing pipes in accordance with production standards
  • Perform repetitive assembly and packaging tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality
  • Inspect raw materials and completed products for defects, contamination, or inconsistencies
  • Follow all workplace safety policies and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
  • Meet daily production quotas and deadlines
  • Communicate equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
  • Assist with general production support tasks as assigned

Work Environment

This position operates in an industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to dust, odors, and varying temperatures. PPE is provided and required. Employees will be standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive motions throughout the shift. Overtime may be required based on production demands.
