Job summary

Hampton Lumber in Allendale County, South Carolina, is seeking a General Laborer to support sawmill operations, ensure smooth material flow, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment. You will assist machine operators, move lumber, and participate in housekeeping across production areas.

Ideal candidates will have strong safety awareness, be able to follow instructions, and lift or move materials as required.

  • Perform general labor duties in support of sawmill production operations

  • Sort, stack, band, and move lumber and wood products
  • Remove debris, wood waste, and other materials from production areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, walkways, and equipment

Overview

The General Laborer performs a variety of tasks to support sawmill operations, material flow, housekeeping, and production activities throughout the facility. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, assisting equipment operators and production personnel, and ensuring the efficient movement of materials while complying with all safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Qualifications
