Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Contract General Labor for a large maraschino cherry production site in Dayton, OR. You will handle physically demanding tasks, move pipes and hoses, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly while helping keep equipment and totes clean and organized.

The role is onsite with exposure to outdoor elements, requiring reliability and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities include packing, sorting and miscellaneous production tasks, with safety procedures emphasized throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a production environment.
• Proven ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Experience performing general labor tasks such as moving equipment and materials.
• Ability to work safely in an active production setting with outdoor elements.
• Reliability and consistency in following instructions and completing tasks.
• Basic understanding of general cleaning practices in an industrial setting.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.

This contract General Labor role supports operations in the tote bringing area at a large maraschino cherry production site. You handle a variety of physical tasks, with a strong focus on moving pipes and hoses and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis. You help keep equipment and totes clean and organized to support smooth production and harvesting activities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.70 - $19.70/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
