Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking a full-time production worker in the United States (Virginia) to perform hands-on carpentry-related tasks, inspections, and audits. The role demands reading tape measures and calipers, strong math and computer skills, and the ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities include following instructions, maintaining accuracy, ensuring safety, and collaborating with a team to meet production goals.

Qualifications

  • One year of production experience or similar in carpentry or fast paced, detail-oriented environment is preferred.
  • Two to three years of work experience.
  • Knowledge and application of safe work practices.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read a tape measure & calipers.
  • Math & computer skills.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of all Masco Cabinetry wood character, machining, assembly and finishing
  • Distinguish among colors and different species.
  • Possess basic Microsoft Office and computer capabilities including Excel, Word and LINCs.
  • Possess a basic knowledge the QMS to promote awareness and use by coworkers.
  • Read a tape measure and caliper.
  • Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Self starter who works effectively without close supervision.

Job Description Starting at $20.44/hr (up to $23.92/hr)

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
  • May be required to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Hand dexterity and strength
  • Overtime is required, including weekends with little or no advance notice
  • May be required to work a flexible schedule
