Qualifications

  • Cabinet shop or woodworking experience preferred but not required.
  • Able to safely operate power tools and woodworking equipment.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or in a team.

  • Read and interpret shop drawings, work orders, and production schedules.
  • Cut, machine, assemble, and prepare cabinet components per specifications.
  • Install hardware, drawer slides, hinges, and cabinet accessories.
  • Inspect finished products to meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Load and unload materials and finished products.
  • Assist with inventory management and material handling.
  • Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality.

Cabinet Shop Employee
Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Cabinet Shop Employee to join our team. This position is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and preparing high-quality custom cabinetry and storage solutions. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in producing quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities
  • Operate woodworking machinery, including panel saws, edgebanders, drill presses, and other shop equipment.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, work orders, and production schedules.
  • Cut, machine, assemble, and prepare cabinet components according to specifications.
  • Install hardware, drawer slides, hinges, and other cabinet accessories.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment as assigned.
  • Load and unload materials and finished products.
  • Assist with inventory management and material handling.
  • Work efficiently to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality.
Qualifications
  • Previous cabinet shop, woodworking, carpentry, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to safely operate power tools and woodworking equipment.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of laminate, melamine, plywood, and hardwood materials.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Stand, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Work safely around machinery, dust, and noise while using required personal protective equipment.
