Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking a General Laborer to support cabinet manufacturing, including material handling, sanding, finishing and shipping. The role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and safe operation in a fast-paced production setting.

Essential duties include handling materials, using basic woodworking tools, performing sanding and packaging, and ensuring quality before shipment. Prior manufacturing or carpentry exposure is preferred; training is provided for machinery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to use hand tools and basic power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Work in production areas with exposure to noise, dust, vibration, and ergonomic stressors while wearing PPE.
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive motion.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds regularly, with assistance for heavier weights.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of cabinet components according to specifications.
• Handle, move, and prepare raw materials and finished products for production stages.
• Operate basic woodworking machinery and power tools (training provided).
• Perform sanding, finishing, packaging, and inspection tasks to prepare cabinets for shipment.
• Report issues with materials, tools, or processes to the supervisor.
• Support team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and a 6S environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
